Keyword Analysis in SEO

What Is Keyword Analysis?
Keyword analysis is the process of analyzing the keywords or search phrases that bring visitors to your website through organic and paid search.
By understanding what queries qualified visitors to your website type into search engines, search marketers can better customize their content and landing pages to drive more traffic and increase conversion rates. For this reason, keyword analysis is an important skill for SEO.

What is the importance of Keyword analysis?
Search engines are looking to return relevant results when someone performs a search. The closer the words on your web page, blog post or online video are to the search that was just performed, the more likely you are to rank higher for that search.

To make your SEO Keywords work for you, by using Meta tags:-

What are meta tags?
Meta tags are HTML elements that provide information about a webpage for search engines and website visitors.   There are two elements that must be placed as tags in the <head> section of a HTML document. These elements are:

  1. Title tag:-

Title tag is a major factor in helping search engines understand what your page is about, and they are the first impression many people have of your page.
A title tag is a HTML element that specifies the title of a web page. Title tags are displayed on search engine results pages.
Google typically displays the first 50–60 characters of a title tag. If you keep your title under 60 characters, our research suggests that you can expect about 90% of your title to display properly. There’s no exact character limit, because characters can vary in width and Google’s display title max out (currently) at 600 pixels. It should look something like this:
<head>
<title>Example Title</title>
</head>

  1. Meta description:-

The suggested length of meta description is somewhere between 150 to 160 characters including spaces. You can even use fewer characters and it works great if your descriptions looks appealing and read better but don’t try to create lengthy descriptions that doesn’t make much sense or description with more than 160 characters. It should be like..

<head>
<meta name=”description” content=”This is an example of a meta description. This will often show up in search results.”>
</head>

A page’s meta description should intelligently employ the keywords that page is targeting, but also create a compelling description that a searcher will want to click. It should be directly relevant to the page it describes, and unique from the descriptions for other pages.

What is an alt tag, & how does it impact SEO?
An alt tag, also known as “alt attribute” and “alt description,” is an HTML attribute applied to image tags to provide a text alternative for search engines.
Search engines and other robots cannot interpret images, but images can play a crucial part in how people interpret a particular web page. Alt tags solve for this by providing text which is read by the search engines. When Google or other search engine crawlers inspect a page, images with properly formatted alt text contribute to how the page is indexed and where it ranks. Alt text is contained within the image tag:
<img src=”myimage.png” alt=” ” />.
Alt tags provide better image context/descriptions to search engine crawlers, helping them to index an image properly.

URLs:-
A URL (Uniform Resource Locator), more commonly known as a “web address”, specifies the location of a resource (such as a web page) on the internet. The URL also specifies how to retrieve that resource, also known as the “protocol”, such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, etc.
Example:-
http://www.yourdomain.com

URLs are a minor ranking factor search engines use when determining a particular page or resource’s relevance to a search query. While they do give weight to the authority of the overall domain itself, keyword use in a URL can also act as a ranking factor.
URL optimization means Short, descriptive urls are optimal. It is very important the url for your web page contains your keyword phrase and is no longer than 100 characters. And url should be static instead of dynamic, it helps you a lot to get fast and stable rankings.
